GOOD LUCK BANGLE

The ladybird or ladybug is probably the only insect to have been consistently viewed as an omen of good luck throughout the ages and it continues to enjoy popularity around the world today due to its talent for pest control. This bangle is a lovely gift for someone or yourself whom you wish good luck to - and also perfect for nature lovers.

This pretty bangle cuff is hand crafted in color anodized aluminum/ colour anodised aluminium. Different leaves and blossoms are printed at varying angles on this cuff. The cuff is a C shape to fit comfortably around the wrist and also has a synclastic shape, which means that it is curved on the edges, as you can see in the photos.

A silver ladybird enjoys exploring the leaves and flowers. She is attached by a silver screw, to hold her firmly in place. She makes this a delightful nature lovers bangle, sure to bring a smile.

The process of anodizing the aluminum means that it can then absorb dyes. I then apply the dyes and seal the surface of the metal. This sealing is a chemical reaction which closes the pores of the metal and fixes the colors permanently, and renders the metal impermeable to further dying and to dirt, moisture and atmospheric corrosion.

The width of the bracelet is 3 cm (1 1/4 inches) and the internal diameter is 6cm ( approx 2.5 inches). This is roughly a small - medium size bangle.

This sweet silver bangle-style bracelet shows a little blue bird flying around in circles and a word tag saying "happiness"! The blue bird of happiness. The bird and tag are both hand sculpted in fine silver. The blue on the bird is hand colored resin. The bangle is made from sterling silver.

The bangle is 2.75 inches in diameter (7 cm) - small-medium size. The bird is approximately 2 cm long.

Pretty songbirds earrings on ear threads. Hand sculpted in fine silver.

If you aren't familiar with ear threads, you thread the post through the ear and also some of the chain, so the chain hangs down at both the front and back of the ear. You slide a stopper up the chain to the back of the ear and that keeps the earrings in place. There is a curved solid part in the chain, where it sits on the ear. They are extremely comfortable (the only style of earrings I wear when flying!)

The birds are 2 cm wide and 1 cm tall. The birds hang down 2.5 cm. The ear threads are sterling silver.

We have lots of quails running around our garden right now. They are lovely to watch and run so fast - always in couples - Quentin and Queenie. So of course, I had to make a Quentin Quail necklace. And because they always run - I gave him some running shoes!!!

Part of his design is that he also likes to be off his chain, and stand by your side and see what you are up to....either as a desk buddy or just where you keep you jewelry....so let him off his chain so he can run free!!!
